Spectacular chateaux and wine with the perfect host! This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip, and Catherine was an absolute pleasure, so knowledgeable about the region, the wine and the history. Book the private Car and Tour! Wonderful day! Highly recommend Bacchus private tour! Private car is the way to see St Emilion! We visited three wineries, had a wonderful lunch and walk through the village. Our driver was knowledgeable, very easy to spend a day with!

Hugo is a lovely driver and great for a chat! My mate Christo & I hired Hugo to take us on a day trip to St. Emilion to tour some Grand Cru wineries, and enjoy the sights & sounds of town. Best service Exceptional Travel Experience with Catherine in France Catherine is a true professional, making it an absolute pleasure to work and travel with her. Before our fabulous trip to France, I reached out to Catherine due to her numerous excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and she certainly lived up to the hype. Our experience was exceptional. Catherine organized our days in Paris, Champagne, and Bordeaux seamlessly. Every detail, from transfers and hotel reservations to restaurant recommendations and tour guides, was meticulously handled. Catherine herself guided us through Bordeaux, Médoc, and Saint-Émilion, sharing her extensive knowledge and warm personality, making us feel like we were spending time with family in France. She curated visits to both small and well-known châteaux, and the wines at each were exceptional. Lunchtimes were a delightful treat of French cuisine, all thanks to her expert guidance. In the evenings, her recommendations of Michelin-starred restaurants in Saint-Émilion were not to be missed. Catherine’s dedication and expertise made our trip unforgettable. A Superb Day Visiting Chateaus in Bordeaux Arranging wine tasting in California is a bit different than in France! Our small group thought we should make the appointments online with the chateaus and hire a driver. We learned we did this backward and caused ourselves unnecessary work. So we contacted Aquitaine Limousine (which I later learned was part of Bacchus Tours). In any case, Catherine Caquelot came to our rescue and ensured we had a perfect day visiting the 2 Chateaus we originally made appointments with (Lagrange and Bechevelle). Catherine also arranged a third chateau visit to Phelan Segur plus an exceptional lunch at Le Saint Julien. Our driver/guide for the day was Hugo, who was very informative and personable. Lesson learned! I should have contacted Bacchus /Aquitaine Limousines from the beginning (make these arrangements EARLY) and allowed Bacchus to arrange the Château visits, as they have relationships with all of the Châteaux. In fact, they could have directed us to Châteaux we knew little about. Well, that's another reason to return to Bordeaux! But do yourself a favor and allow Bacchus/Aquitaine to make the arrangements. Again, our group was so pleased with our driver/guide Hugo. He accompanied us to our tastings/tours at the Chateaus. It was obvious the people leading our tours knew him and respected his knowledge and wine expertise. Our visits to the Chateaus was the highlight of our trip! Thank you

Perfeitos Escolhemos o serviços da Aquitaine pelas boas avaliações e não nos arrependemos. Desde o primeiro e-mail, muito antes da viagem, Catherine foi extremamente atenciosa e conseguiu-nos uma visita na vinícola que queríamos conhecer, a Phelan-Segur. Ela fez todo o planejamento de acordo com nossos gostos e nos reservou um maravilhoso restaurante para o almoço. No outro dia também nos reservou visitas em vinícolas maravilhosas, que muito nos agradaram. Aqui em Bordeaux, Hugo e Catherine já estavam nos esperando para nos levar ao hotel em nossa chegada. Hugo, nosso motorista, foi simplesmente maravilhoso, educadíssimo, nos explicou sobre os vinhos, as vinícolas, a cidade. Fala inglês muito bem. Nos acompanhou nas visitas. Foi uma companhia maravilhosa. Ao final, nos trouxeram até a estação e ficaram conosco até a chegada do trem. Foram de uma educação e gentileza incomparável! Com certeza vamos voltar a Bordeaux e faremos muitos passeios com eles! Obrigada Catherine e Hugo pela estadia maravilhosa que nos proporcionaram! Ah, o carro também é excelente! Uma BMW muito confortável, com Wi-Fi e água sempre disponível!
